Please don’t judge me.

So what they smoke? So what they go to church and drink, So what they are addicted, they can’t stay from their toy, so what?

So what they lie, steal, cuss, and sleep around with women?

So what do they pierce, plate, and listen to secular music? So what?

We forget our stuff may be way worse than theirs.

We are too quick to judge, we don’t see our issues.

We tag ourselves as the “holy ones”, not seeing the log in our eye, but too quick to see the log in another’s.

I have been, and I still am a victim of judging people. I might look at someone, calculate them and snap! I’ve just boxed them in my box.

Hair long… they must be… (insert judgement here)

Short dress… they must be… (insert judgement here)

They eat a lot, walk funny, talk slow… they must be… (insert judgement here)

What if those who love us so dearly would just judge us, what if our closest of friends, maybe our parents, could scan us and conclude in an instant despite the relationship we have with them, How would we feel?

Interesting enough…. What if Christ would judge us by looking at our hair colour? or the sin we did the other day?

What if He never gave us a little grace, a little room to cry, a little room to open reveal ourselves unfiltered?

Just because you are 3 steps ahead it doesn’t make you better. We are all in a journey.

We are all walking. Different paces. Different stages.

You have no right to judge another.

And for you who feel as though you deserve to be judged because of what you have done…

I don’t care how bad you think you are, how horrible things you think you have done, perhaps you feel judged… well, just know, there’s a man who doesn’t judge.

He takes us, walks with us, and helps us become better.

Your wrong doings doin’t define you. God does.

Get close to Him, and He’ll help you through it, and grow out of it. Baby steps.
